4.0 out of 5 stars Typically honest account of Luton Town, 10 Oct 2008
By Darran Murtagh "Buzzard" (Buzzard) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
This is a must read for all Hatters and indeed all fans of smaller clubs. The demise of our club, due to stupidity at board level followed by stupidity by the governing bodies is detailed very well, as is the ability of our fans to not just let things happen and to not let people try to use our club to make money. Forget the Premiership with all its glitz and glamour there are many many many true football fans supporting clubs just like Luton and the story told will be all too common in clubs up and down the land. Of course much of it relates to people and characters that only Luton fans will know but it gives a huge understanding of what happened and after reading it I defy any fan of another club to simply say that "they deserved what they got for living beyond their means". The account ends in a way that gives all Luton fans hope. Hope that our club will rise from this. Bravo
