Ann Rule looks deep into the mind of Jerome Brudos and takes us from his early years of contempt for his mother, to his final acts of hatred toward all women. His own wife, whom he loved dearly, never knew of his murders, rapes and unthinkable acts toward the women he abducted. Even when he was apprehended, the stoic confession of his crimes was more an act of bragging than remorse. Ann Rule keeps us turning the pages until we flip the last one.

Yet another, brilliantly detailed true crime book from the No.1 Writer in America.
Ann Rule takes you step by step through the life and crimes of Jerry Brudos. From his earliest childhood memories, to his hatred for his mother, to his shoe fetishes and breaking and entering, to his marriage to Darcie (who it has to be said he worshipped), and ultimately to his lust killings of innocent women, including his macabre mutilations of their bodies after death, which eventually led to his 'bragging' confessions. It's all here, detailed, indepth and in black and white.
Ms Rule does not let down any of the true crime readers out there, and even though we may not of even heard the name of Jerome Brudos before, you will quickly learn to remember it!

Complete and alarming, Rule's "Lust Killer" is a must read for women in particular to perhaps help keep them on their toes about where they are, who they're with and always scream for help. It's your only chance to survive. Thank you...Ann
