In today’s disposable music industry, a twenty year career is something almost unheard of. It takes a band with a big heart, a loyalty to one of the most varied group of fans ever and just a sheer love of making people smile to do it properly. It takes a band from Texas...that band is Bowling For Soup. Produced by Jarinus (Linus Of Hollywood and Jaret Reddick), Lunch. Drunk. Love.
’ signals the beginning of a new era for Bowling For Soup, as frontman Jaret Reddick explained after announcing that their October 2013 UK tour will be their last upon our shores: “We're all excited about the future and what's next. Honestly, it opens up the whole world for us! If you're a fan of Bowling For Soup, this really is better news than it seems. You may not be seeing us in person as much, but you're definitely gonna have more new songs.” With heartfelt breakup songs like “Since We Broke Up” and “Envy”, upbeat pop-culture / name dropping songs that ONLY BFS can pull off such as “Normal Chicks”, and a surprising cover of the Edie Brickell and the New Bohemians song “Circle” (also one of two lead tracks, the other being “From The Rooftops”), this could actually prove to be Bowling For Soup’s most well rounded album to date. Although it's clear the BFS juggernaut will roll on, let's not pretend that this entirely fan-funded twelfth studio album is just 'another' album. This is the last time the band will tour our fine country with a whole batch of new songs.
