I was a fan Katie Jane Garside from the Queen Adreena days, but that band never quite did it for me, too purposely discordant for my tastes. And Ruby Throat seem a little tamed and blunted for me. This however, I love. Very ethereal, very haunting, tracks like 'Just One Day Of Endless Love' are ambient to the point of disconnect. Then you have track like 'Marybell', which is one of catchiest songs Ive *ever* heard.
Its not pop music by any means, but if you're in the mood for something different, give this a whirl, its one of my all time favourite albums.
