We found this book very helpful when we needed to get our children talking about down syndrome, it gave a great idea of a typical day for the main character who has the syndrome. Very easy to read. I am so glad i bought it.

As the parent of a child with Down syndrome, I was disappointed with some of the "wording" in this book. When I explained this to a friend, she asked if the author is from England. Yes, the author is from England. Apparently they are not as "politically correct" as we try to be.
I bought this book for my 5 year old nephew in the hope that he will have a better understanding as to why his cousin has some "differences". I can not give this book to him, or anyone else for that matter. I feel that book places too many labels and places more focus on "why they look so different".
