I had this deck on pre-order with Amazon and after waiting over 3 months and with 3 further delays, the order was finally cancelled by Amazon so as soon as it was available, I grabbed it.
The few major arcana cards that were shown on the facebook fan page were enticing. It just seems to me that designers spend so much effort on the major arcana and the minor arcana are an afterthought, seemingly rushed to complete the deck. Why not just make a smaller than traditional deck? This deck was no exception, although slightly better than the last 10 ten I have tried this year, I still found them to be not a patch on my Ciro Marchetti Legacy of the Divine Tarot deck. Legacy of the Divine Tarot
The entire deck is dark and quite morose and the minor arcana to me, seem to have little to do with the meanings of the cards and do not really facilitate interpretation, they seem to simply follow a pattern of pain and death.
Disappointing as I had high hopes for these. For me a good deck is one which has plenty of detail in ALL the cards, where sometimes, you may do a reading and see something that you never saw previously but which is clearly meant to be seen and interpreted for that reading only. Cards should poke into the imagination and create a fluid picture of interpretation. These do not do it for me.
