The sleeve effectively protects my laptop from bumps and water. Taking my laptop in and out of the sleeve is easy since the fold-over flap is held in place by velcro strips. The velcro is strong and I have had no problems with the velcro unsticking.
One slight downside, is that when the sleeve gets wet, the yellow colour of the exterior runs a little bit. This is hardly noticeable though and not really a problem.
Although the amount that you fold the flap down is adjustable, the width of the sleeve is too wide for my 13" screen Macbook (but not wide enough to turn my computer in the other direction). This should not be a problem for anyone with a larger laptop though.
Overall, good at protecting my laptop and is very discrete.

This a fun and functional laptop case. It has a good padding inside and it's well made. It looks like an old envelop and has stamps on it. Great for presents.

Amazon Verified Purchase
I bought this item for a laptop that Dell sells as a 17-inch laptop (Inspiron). But it doesn't even come close to fitting inside this padded envelope designed sleeve, so make sure your laptop is a maximum of 17-inch. Not 17.3-inch or anything else. Also, the 'padded' side of things is very very thin. Considerably thinner than a real 'padded envelope' for example. Probably no more than 2mm or 3mm on each side of the sleeve. Verdict: Underwhelmed!
