OK the recording quality could have been better...but please remember that this was an evening 20 YEARS AGO. It may have been mastered on tape back then.
Luciano sings in intimate fashion accompanied by the piano.
The program is excellently chosen and sung by a master at the peak of his craft, the soft voice is there, equally the bold passages ring true. A version of Luna D'estare which could not be improved upon, eighteen pieces and he finishes the performance off with Nessun Dorma, what more could be asked?

In this instance I think to quibble with this DVD on the basis of production values would be like going to see "The Mona Lisa" and giving it 1 out of 10 because of the state of the frame!!!

A likely addition to any Pavarotti fans collection. Thank you and rest in peace Luciano.

This recording is an utter disappointment; the picture quality leaves a lot to be desired and the audio is below par. All in all, a great let down and this DVD does not do this great tenor justification. The content and selection of music is good but due to the quality it offers little in the way of enjoyment.

I completely agree with Tenner Fan to be honest. This is a fantastic concert.

The previous review says it all really. I would just like to add that I thoroughly enjoyed this DVD. It was a touching performance with some fantastic music.

To be completely honest, I do not this think the film/audio quality if that bad at all. I have quite a few vintage performances on DVD and this is not bad at all!

Regardless, I loved it, and so would any fan
