After recently visiting the Lowry Museum in Manchester, I was pleased to come across this recent book. It contains the most extensive collection of photos and narratives in one book that I have found to date. If you are a fan of Lowry, I seriously recommend this one over all others. It has pride of place on my coffee table to enthral my guests.

I've read just about every book on Lowry, from his paintings to the details of his personal life. This book bends the viewing angle and delivers a fresh look into his work. Howard looks where others have not. His depiction of Lowry's famous most famous works, take on a different look. A true classic amongst art books. My hat goes off to this daring look at Britain's most famous artist of the 20th Century.

the book is great, a present for my Mum who went to the exhibition and she loves it, great history of Lowry in it and well chosen images. The service is good, it was sent to our house and was taken from the porch, they sent another one as that one was taken! Brilliant, not too many people would do that, really happy.
