Me too, yesterday morning. It lasted until about ten minutes after I first saw it, so I contacted Amazon to check and make sure I would be paying the lower price on dispatch, but two messages later I couldn't get them to admit it. The lowest price so far, according to them, has been £121.66. I shall draw their attention to this discussion if I'm not charged £106.73.
Of course it's not just me that gets the lower price, it's everyone that ordered before that date. I assume that we'd always have been charged the £106.73, it was the Amazon representative who got it wrong when he told me we'd be paying £121.66.
This is interesting (I THINK the lower price was displayed last Thursday- right?). I'd pre-ordered the set a while ago, saw the price displayed at £106, then checked the 'Pre-order Price Guarantee' & thought: GREAT!- a whopping £40 reduction (!). However- it remained at £146 in 'My Orders'. So- I got on the phone, explained the situation to the Customer Services guy & he was ADAMANT that the box had never been offered at that price (according to 'the system' etc). I got a bit angry in the end, saying: "What?- you think I IMAGINED it?!". I'd actually considered cancelling my pre-order & re-ordering at the lower price, until I read about the price guarantee- but hadn't because of the above. I kept on & on via email, until I got a reply saying that- it wasn't their policy, but as a kind of 'good will gesture' they'd only charge me £106. Of course, that was ok- but by that time I thought I'd imagined it (!). Anyway- for anyone who pre-ordered before that date (sorry I can't be more accurate about the time) & HASN'T been charged the lower price- I suggest you 'stick to your guns' & contact Amazom like I did. They're in breach of policy/contract if they've charged you more for a pre-order.
