I bought this bag to put in my hand luggage whilst flying. It fitted my Canon 450d with a 55-250mm lens on perfectly. It is a great bag for travel or if you want to go out with just one lens. It has plenty of space for spare batteries/ cards/ wallet etc.
Having been used to the Lowepro Fastpack 200 Quick Access Backpack (which is a brilliant bag) I find the Toploader bag slightly more awkward for getting the camera in and out of but I'm sure I'll get used to it. I also prefer to have a backpack when using the camera as it doesn't get in the way - but I just make someone else hold the Toploader! It is well made and sturdy.

I bought this bag to supplement my larger camera bag that carries the majority of my photographic gear. There are times when I just don't want to carry it all around with me when a camera with a single walk-around lens is all that I need.
My camera is a Canon 50D with an EFS 18-200 zoom which fits perfectly into the Lowepro Toploader Zoom 50AW when the lens hood is reversed. There is room left over for the camera strap too. Now that may seem daft to mention but I have tried many of this type of bag where the camera fits so snugly that there isn't actually room for the strap unless it is pressing on the LCD screen which is not ideal. The shoulder strap is of a reasonable width, appears to be strong, and is easily adjustable to suit the length that I need. It isn't cushioned for the shoulder but it does have a very grippy pad that stops it slipping.
The rain cover stows neatly and is easily fitted although, as other reviewers here have mentioned, it doesn't cover the back of the bag and you will have to remove the shoulder strap to fit it properly. This isn't a deal-breaker for me as I can hardly remember a time when I've ever had to put the rain cover on any other bag.
The front pocket is roomy enough to stow a couple of spare batteries and other small items and the inside pocket will hold spare Compact Flash cards.
Delivery of this item was very quick and within 48 hours of ordering by the Free Supersaver Delivery option. So far, so good but I'll be taking this to an event in the desert in northern Spain soon so we'll see how it stands up to that.

I'm very happy with this case. I have 3 sets of 4 batteries & a couple of tripod mounts in the front pocket, with plenty of room to spare. It has a nice little zippable pouch on the inside of the top of the case for several memory cards. Inside the main part of the case is plenty of room for my Fuji HS20EXR, with room under internal velcro'd flap for my memory card reader & Joby ballhead. Not forgetting to mention it also has the easily accessible waterproof cover that you can quickly pull out & over the case if you get caught out, since the case is really only splash proof as the zips aren't waterproofed. The case also has a very useable & sturdy strap, belt loop etc - it is also very well padded out. I really don't have a bad thing to say about it hence the 5 stars.

Very goood product
Very good and convinient product. Also with the weather cover, you can gurantee it for weather regardless dust or wet. Very good material and well made as usual by Lowepro.
