Perfect for photojournalists, the SlingShot 200 AW uses a unique sling design to go from carry mode to ready mode in just seconds. Carried comfortably on the back, it easily rotates to the front so you can get to your camera quickly. The SlingShot 200 AW holds an SLR with mid-range zoom lens attached 34 extra lenses, cables and accessories and has a full access lid to make loading it a snap. This feature-rich bag also includes a built-in memory card pouch, micro fiber LCD cloth and two generous organizer pockets. It's certain to surprise even the most demanding photojournalists.

I've had this bag for a couple of months now and have been very pleased with it. I'm continually adding to my camera accessories, so I wanted something that wasn't going to be full straight away. The bag easily takes my Nikon D50 with an 18-70mm lens attached and I there is room to allow a bigger lens.
In addition to the main camera area there are five other compartments. These are all accessed through the same zip and they allow you to store 3-4 lenses as well as a flash or other accessories. The walls of the compartments are attached by velcro so you can adjust them to fit your needs. There is an extra zip compartment at the top of the bag that can take more accessories or some snacks :) Another feature of the bag is an all-weather cover. This is kept hidden in a pocket at the bottom of the bag and is very useful when the heavens open.
The bag only has one shoulder strap and another strap that connects over your chest. This allows you to disconnect the chest strap and flip the bag round to your front giving you quick access to your camera. Extra straps around the main compartment allow you to just open the camera area to stop everything else in the bag spilling out. This is a great system, although I did find the bag got a little uncomfortable when wearing it on a longer walks. As a result of this I have opted to get a smaller bag (Lowepro Topload Zoom Mini) to allow me to just carry my camera with its attached lens. This I can then put in a proper rucksack for longer walks. I still think the Slingshot is a great bag and I now use it when I'm going out with the intention to shoot and I want all my lenses.

Excellent bag for a day out with your camera, easy to carry, quick and easy access to your kit when your ready. At first I ordered the 100 and found it to small to take my Canon 400D digital camera properly. Re-ordered the 200 which is Perfect for Camera,lenses,flash etc.

I'd been looking at large camera bags for quite a while, and after looking around the high street, turned my attention to Amazon. I'm so glad I did - I found the Lowepro Slingshot 200 for almost half the price of photographic shops.
I own a Canon EOS 400D SLR, which happily fits in the bag with 3-4 lenses. There's a neat LCD protector for the camera when it's in the bag, and a multitude of pockets for memory cards, cables, filters, pens, etc etc. There's a large seperate compartment at the top for other bits and pieces, like a point and shoot camera.
You're able to access you camera by simply twisting the bag round across your body, without taking it off your back. The main compartment opening of the bag is then the right way up once swivelled so your kit won't fall out.
At the bottom of the bag, there's a pull-out protective cover which protects against rain and dust. If it rains, simply unravel it and stretch across the bag, and your precious kit is safe from the elements.
Overall, the quality is excellent and I was surprised just how many useful little features there are.
All of this coupled with Amazon's sharp pricing and speedy delivery make it a must-have for any camera owner without a proper way to safely transport their gear! 5 Stars.
