I ordered this item from Amazon as it was being offered on their site at a price well below the rrp. First of all, the bag is very well constructed and feels very sturdy. The reverse-opening lid is great for access when you're on the move, with the front flap - which is there solely to allow access to the zipped front pocket beneath, and not the main compartment - adding to the bag's asthetics as well as acting as a red herring to any opportunist thief fishing for your equipment.
In terms of space, it is able to contain my Eos 450d with 18-55 kit lens attached, a EFS 55-250 zoom and a Speedlight 430EX II (in it's own case), with additional room for filters, memory cards, leads etc. There is also room left in the central division of the main compartment, just below the camera with attached kit lens, to store either a small fast prime or a battery charger.
With the addition of the microfibre cloth, which prottects the cam's LCD and doubles as a lens cloth, as well as the waterproof cover that fits tidily into a pocket below the front pocket, the bag shapes up to being a very portable solution for those who wish to travel light with a small amount of equipment.

It's not a bad bag but didn't quite live up to expectations (used to carry a Nikon D300 with attached 28-70 and 12-24 alongside for occasional use). A bit of a squeeze! I think the claim that it will take 2-3 lenses should be taken with a large lump of salt - I don't know where you'd put the third one! I find the access awkward - would have been better if the outer flap allowed access through the unzipped top, i.e. the zip to should open the other way. If you want to shorten the strap so the bag is above waist height, the adjustment buckle prevents the shoulder pad from being central and the buckle cuts into your shoulder.

Used this for recent USA holiday to hold Canon EOS 450D plus 3 lenses and range of accessories.
More than enough space and very easy to use.
Accommodated camera body with 55-250 lens attached.
Highly recommended.

Good bag but not perfect
