I got one of these after looking around the net trying to decide what bag would best suit me. The Fastpack 200 was my final choice as it had the 2 main points that I wanted. 1: Must take my Sony A300, 2 Lenses and cables. 2: Must have room to take other bits like lunch.
The top pocket is big enough to take lunch for 2 people and a couple of small items like sunglasses. The bottom part where the camera goes is a good size and easily takes my Sony A300 with 75-300mm lens fitted and enogh roon for another similar size lens, charger, leads and spare battery. Its well padded so nothing will get broken easily. Being able to get to the camera is really easy by just slipping the right strap off your shoulder and spinning the bag around.
It doesnt come with a weather proof cover like some others but that doesnt bother me to much as i dont intend on going walking in the rain to often.

This backpack is great. The compartments are well padded and structured for a Nikon D5000 DSLR, a 70-200mm lens, a JVC HD camcorder, and batteries and chargers for both. THis bag is not suited for 3 lenses - unless you re-arrange 'the standard' structure of the compartments - in my opinion. The access from the side i did not find very useful - since you wouldn't take your camera out, take a picture, and then put it back in again. As a father, this leaves me with storage for bottles, food, nappies etc in the top section - which is complete separate. I particularly like the flap over the zips - a nice little security device for when walking thought crowds.

Almost Perfect 23 Feb 2009
I decided to go with the Fastpack 200 as I wanted a day bag for hiking and generally lugging about my camera and bits and pieces. The bag is of high quality and I'm happy with the purchase. In the lower compartment I'm able to easily fit in my Canon 450d, 18-50mm kit lens,55-200mm lens, charger, lens hood and a number of memory cards with room for a telephoto lens (this would have to be attached to the camera). The upper compartment has room for an mp3 player, PDA and room for lunch and some smalll items of clothing.

I would however say that a chest strap would be a valuable addition as with a fully laden bag this would just make the bag a little more secure when hiking. Also there is no rain cover, I've purchased one seperately but I think when you've spent so much money on camera kit this is something that manufacturers should include with all camera bags.

Overall given the price and what I need it for, it's an almost perfect day bag for the kit that I've got. However if you've got more equipment that you'd like to carry around on a day to day basis then you'll need something bigger.
