I brought both books by Anne Sheasby (the Low Fat Vegetarian 100 Step By Step Recipes and 70 Vegetarian Every Day Low Fat Recipes) after I had borrowed them from the library. They were so good I had to have my own copies. A few of the recipes appear in both books. But I do begrudgingly forgive her for this because these books are now my favourite cookbooks. You get straight forward, easy to follow recipes using lots of fresh ingredients. If I had to choose my favourite out of the two books it would be the Low Fat Vegetarian 100 Step By Step Recipes. But I do strongly recommend both books.

My Favorite Vegetarian Cookbook 10 Jan. 2011

This was the first vegetarian cookbook I bought when I decided to buckle down and eat healthfully. I got it almost four years ago and have made more than half of the recipes in it so far, and it has become my go-to cookbook for both everyday and event meals. I like the risottos and other rice dishes especially. I just came back to find it on Amazon because my mom wants her own copy!

I'm on a low-saturated-fat diet and am a vegetarian -- this book is great, we use it a lot a lot a lot, and the recipies are easy.
