Finally a book that caters for people who love their gardens but don't happen to know the latin names for plants or all the technical terms that Gardeners Question Time fans can probably recite blindfold. As the owner of a small/medium city space garden this has been a revelation in providing practical tips and beautiful (and often affordable and achievable)inspiration. Beautifully laid out and photographed, along with very clear diagrams and models. This book provides recognises that many of us don't own mature cottage gardens with acres and acres of space - a very good value title.
These Caroline Tilston books are not too bad if you buy just one, but they are immensely repetitive both in text and in photographs. One book has been spun out into a series. The information is very similar to that you find in 'Lifestyle Gardening' by Karen Platt.
