For 3 years this black vocal group cut a series of singles for the Federal label without much chart action.That came in 1957 after a name change to the Sharps when they were credited alongside Thurston Harris on his Aladdin hit Little Bitty Pretty One.
The Sharps also cut a single for Jamie and appeared as rebel yellers on a few Duane Eddy records.
After which came the Rivingtons and immortality
Ace also issued a CD of the complete Rivingtons later

I heard the song "Yum Yum" on my XM radio and couldn't find it on iTunes, so I ordered the entire album. My husband and I find the songs quite enjoyable and appreciate the "wholesome" quality of music from this era.
