Definitely a piece for completists, this 1978 Giorgio Moroder album featuring female singer Chris Bennett on vocals is possibly his weakest effort--especially considering it comes AFTER the powerhouse electronic disco track I Feel Love, not to mention many other genre defining tracks with Donna Summer that broke the disco mold. What you get here is almost 'lounge disco'--the kind of generic stuff you'd hear in 1970s movies with soundtracks that imitated the disco craze without paying royalties to any major artists to give it authenticity. Not to sound like Simon Cowell, but Chris Bennett's vocals are like something you'd expect to hear on a cruise ship--in the 70s! There really isn't a single standout stomping disco track on this release. But of course, it is fantastic to have even more Moroder preserved on CD at last.
