I don't live in London, yet the humour in this 'unofficial' guide to the London Underground is widely appealing. Interesting facts are teamed with inventive ways to spend your commute, and I find myself desperate to go to London just to put some of them to the test. The author's voice is fun and entertaining and I almost felt like I was on an open-top bus guided tour of the underground (although that sounds dangerous so this is a much cheaper and safer option). Maybe Rosemary can start a petition to the London Underground officials to take on-board some of her clever suggestions. This book is an enjoyable read for either on or off the underground although from what I hear, you might not have the elbow room to do anything but breathe on the tube. I'd recommend this to everyone who commutes in London and to the rest of us too for a good read. --Amazon review of UK Kindle edition
