A delight to read,
By Alex Beecroft "Alex Beecroft" (Cambridge, UK) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Lover's Knot (M/M Romance) (Paperback)
It was wonderful! It's set in a small Cornish village, and there's a gripping plot that involves ghosts and revenge and the return of a demon lover from our hero's past to bedevil him just as he's beginning to nerve himself up to confess his true love to the sunny young gentleman who is his guest at his newly acquired Cornish farmstead. A lovely meaty plot and a lush, evocative setting - banter and obvious ease between the two heroes, and a dangerous sensuality and threat from the lover of the past who is not as dead and gone as everyone might have hoped... It's a real classic of the genre in a similar vein to The Phoenix by Ruth Sims - a serious, literary book, but a delight to read. I thoroughly enjoyed it. False Colors: An M/M Romance

Wonderful,

This review is from: Lover's Knot (M/M Romance) (Paperback)
I don't often feel compelled to write a review on Amazon. However, Lover's Knot is such a wonderful book that I felt I had too.
As you read the story you develop a strong attachment to the characters and it becomes a great sadness to realise that you've finally finsihed it. The story itself centres around a young man from the early 20th century. Unresolved baggage from his past casts a shadow over his life and prevents him from moving on. The side characters are lovingly written and flow very with the main lead. Heres hoping that Donald Hardy writes some more books.

Superb,
This review is from: Lovers' Knot: An M/M Romance: An M / M Romance (Kindle Edition)
Set in Cornwall at the turn of the 19 th into the 20th century this book is written with great style and authenticity. The characters are not only believable but you come to known
Hem as real people. The story involves deep mysteries and the darknes and brooding shines through like a candle in the dark. This is a serious read for anyone who enjoys good story telling and I amsureyou too, like me, will find it hard to put the book down. Please Mr Hardy, can we have more
