Loverboy is a unique serial killer. He sends the FBI collages of the crime scene before he murders his victims. If the FBI can solve the puzzle they will save a life. If the FBI can not figure out the collage Loverboy murders the innocent victim. Loverboy gives the FBI two weeks to solve the collage. Imogen Page is an FBI agent working on the case. She is determined to stop Loverboy from striking for his sixth time.
Imogen Page has a very hard time trusting anyone throughout the novel. Still mourning over her brother's death, she will not let Loverboy take another woman's life. The collage has taken over her life. It keeps her up at night and she spends all her time trying to decipher the puzzle hidden in the collage. Imogen will not let Loverboy outsmart her.
Loverboy is a suspenseful novel. It will have the reader on the edge of their chair until the very last page. I enjoyed the unpredictable story. The only complaint I have is that I wish Jaffe would have included more information on Loverboy's other murders. I would recommend it to anyone who is entertained by a thrilling mystery. Loverboy is one the best books I have read and I hope you will adore it as much as I did.
