Looking for a way to discretely breastfeed? This shawl is your answer!
I tried wearing both a breastfeeding bra and a breastfeeding top but I still felt exposed when trying to breastfeed in public. This shawl gives you and baby some private space in which to feed uninterrupted.
Creates 'Private space':
Gives Mum and baby a quiet moments respite from the hustle and bustle of being out in public. For baby, its quieter, darker and enveloping. Mum can maintain eye contact through the neckline, which seems just the right size-- not too big that it hangs too low, and not too high that Mum cannot see what baby is up to. Reassures both Mum and baby since you can see each other the entire time.
Why get the LovedBaby Shawl over a regular shawl?
It is made of a lightweight microfiber that keeps body heat in creating a pocket of warmth for baby and your exposed skin during colder months and likewise is a breathable fabric which allows air to circulate, keeping baby cooler during warmer months too. Its very soft and my son likes the sewn texture design too. It washes up well at 30*c and doesnt take long to air dry (TIP: Do not put on central heating radiator to dry as it makes the material rough and blotchy).
Multifunctional:
Can fit nicely over a carseat to allow baby to sleep uninterrupted lights and other distractions-- the carseat handle is easily accessed through the neckline of the shawl.
Can also be used to wrap baby up for extra warmth when out and about-- lay it flat (not advised to put over baby's head as a wiggly baby could get work the material into a tangle around its neck) and wrap it around baby's body like an envelope.
Portable:
Folds up very small and comes in a cute little pouch. Can be easily thrown into nappy bag or handbag. Takes up virtually no space at all!

I'm not sure what poncho the lady in the item picture is wearing but its definitely not the one i received. I had big gaps on either side of mine that showed my breasts to the world, it was also much shorter than the one in the picture too. I do use it, but with much paranoia!
makes breastfeeding in public simple. most people dont even realise what you are doing until you take the baby out from under the shawl.
easy to take with you as folds into a small drawstring bag that fits with ease into a changing bag.
my little one doesnt seem to care that shes covered. in fact most of the time it does her some good as she cant get distracted.

it serves the purpose
The material is soft and falls nicely and it serves the purpose of nursing my baby at public's place. I also like the pouch that comes with it.
