3.0 out of 5 stars Some very good....some not so..... 10 Jan 2014

Very much an "open source" affair - the "catchiness" of the stories varies a lot, as does the quality of written English. A bit like one of those funfair "fishing" games. OK.

5.0 out of 5 stars Some great short stories in here 26 Nov 2013

Some great short stories in here, if you're a horror fan it's well worth the money for the amount of content, and if you're a Lovecraft fan you'll love it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Mountains of macabre-ness! 22 Aug 2013
Format:Kindle Edition
The Lovecraft ezine has already established itself as one of the must-have small press horror journals. The decision by editor Mike Davis to take advantage of new technology and keep the magazine digital-only means that an extraordinary showcase of weird-writing talent is made available for very little cost. Popular Lovecraftians such as W H Pugmire, Joe Pulver and Molly Tanzer are present and correct but a good many 'new' writers have found a platform here, too, and the range of styles and settings is breathtaking, only proving that Cthulhu and his cohorts are very much alive and wriggling 90 years after H P first frightened us with them. The 2011 Lovecraft ezine megapack contains the publication's first nine issues, presenting dozens of yarns guaranteed to impel and repulse in equal measure. Buy the 2012 megapack, too, and you'll have treated yourself to an extensive collection of the very best contemporary weird fiction and for just a few dollars. Just don't expect to get much sleep for a week or two!

A great collection of stories in the 'Vein' of the master! Some dark, some humorous, some downright clammy. Cthullu lives!
