JLS now release "Love You More", the 2nd single from their highly anticipated second album "Outta This World", following the massive success of their third UK number 1 "The Club Is Alive" in July. This is their first ballad, and is this year's official single for BBC Children In Need, and also, rather importantly, the first single of theirs that they've co-written as a band.
One thing that I don't think JLS get near enough credit for is that, unlike some other boybands I could care to mention, they write their own stuff - on this new album they've written 13 of the 14 new tracks, and they wrote 9 of the 13 on their first album - and they're amazingly good songwriters.
With "Love You More", which they co-wrote with Toby Gad (who has been co-writer on many of the Pixie Lott, Beyonce and Fergie hits) it's a beautiful, simple track that starts out as exactly that, but then builds and builds even more before it reaches a string laden, choir backed finale that lifts you the minute you hear it.
Their vocals, in particular Oritse and Aston's, sound flawless here, and this makes for quite simply one of their best singles they've released so far. And when it's all for a good cause such as Children In Need, there's really no excuse to not get your copy.
