Until recently I have been having 'reading block', where every book I've picked up has bored me to tears and made me reach for the remote control. That is until I read 'Love in a Warm Climate'.
I have really enjoyed Helena Frith Powell's other (non-fiction) books, especially 'Two Lovers and A Lipstick' and her latest publication, a novel, is no disappointment. In fact, it has inspired me to re-read 'Two Lovers and A Lipstick' in order to refresh my memory on how to find my inner French woman, which is easy to forget with children around (well, that's my excuse anyway).
I would highly recommend this novel. It is clever, well researched and full of emotion. I also loved the yoga instructions at the end - just wish that I could do my sun salutations in France like Sophie!
