5.0 out of 5 stars Best Classic Movie Ever! 4 May 2008
Format:VHS Tape
Absolutely brilliant film. A must for all Margaret Lockwood and Stewart Granger fans. The film is set in cornwall with lovely surroundings. The music is so emotional, with the crashing of the waves against the rocks and the music together you can imagine you are there.
When is this film coming out on DVD?? have been looking for years for it as I must have it in my collection!

5.0 out of 5 stars A British classic, fine music, good story. 6 April 2013
Format:VHS Tape|Amazon Verified Purchase
I'm Cornish and a Brass Band player, The Cornish Rhapsody featured towards the end is a great piece of music written by the great Hubert Bath, who also wrote some great brass band music, this is so descriptive, he certainly knew how to write that sort of music. Some of the Photography (also a hobby of mine) is superb, and it includes the famous mine stacks down near Trewellard, along with the very famous Minnack Theatre, an outdoor theatre near Porthcurno, both great Cornish landmarks, famous actors in the lead parts who really knew how to act. Oh and the story was pretty good too. Anyone interested in composing descriptive music, there's a lesson or two in this for you.
