I'd always found the most attractive thing about the original Finally was the actual lyrics. They seem to me to be a great description of meeting "the one", but come at it from a different angle.
When they are combined with Love Story, the result is excellent. The underlying Love Story rhythms fit in so well with the lyrics and the hard vocal track. I'd never heard Love Story on its own before, but it combines with the vocals to create a very stylish overall track with good momentum. I also love the sound used to create the chord hits in the Layo and Bushwacka underlay, the bassline, and the slow adding in of instruments towards the end of the song. (Oh, and the video must win the award for simplest but coolest sexy video ever made).
Overall a sleek stylish track with a pumping rhythm and meaningful penetrating vocal.
This song has been played constantly on MTV Dance and is gonna be huge!
