'Love Scenes' is a must for all Beverly Craven fans, with a range of fabulous tracks. My favourites are 'Mollie's Song' - dedicated to Beverly's daughter, and the haunting 'In those days' - originally written for a BBC television series. Essential listening!

Beverley Craven's first album was great and still is. It is one of my most listened to albums. It was therefore easy to randomly select this album. No regrets for that. The performance is a leap on her previous albums and anyone who enjoys good music will surely enjoy many many hours of it. If you are a Beverley fan, and you haven't got one, then there is a hole in your collection and you better fill it.

I must say when I first took a chance on buying a Beverley Craven album I doubted I would become addicted to her voice and talented lyric work and great musical sound as I am now. When I say her music soothes my soul I mean it, I think the lyrics to her music are refreshingly honest but also simple but they come across so strong in her beautiful voice. Obviously she is more well known for songs like "Promise me" and "Holding on" which brought her in to the picture to start with but this is only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to revealing the bulk of her talent. This album "Love Scenes" is without a doubt one of my all time favorite albums and in my opinion all the songs on it are masterpiece quality and even the cover of the ABBA song "The winner takes it all" is performed well with her own unique style that does the song justice. I make an effort not to play her music too frequently as I like it so much that is the great temptation to do, I usually take it out when my mind needs refreshment or if I simply need a soothing sound and that's why I rate this a great album, you simply can't go wrong if you buy it, its truly great quality music.
