The characters are brilliantly surreal yet very realistic. As the various stories unfold you'll undoubtedly find yourself getting more and more attached to them, Hernandez puts real love into all the characters, even the baddies.
The artwork is absolutely beautiful (it's usually thought that in love and rockets, jaime hernendez is the better artist and gilberto hernandez is the better writer). This is a mammoth of a book that keeps you interested throughout, despite starting a bit slowly.
You definatley get value for money here, and if you're looking for something original and cool, look no further.
