The story involved Lilith waiting for her one true love; she drinks a potion to make her immortal until her love appears. 579 years later Mitch moves next door to her. He's a sceptical journalist who does not believe in magick. There is some comic moments with the rivalry between Lilith's cat and Mitch's dog. the relationship between Lilith,Jason and Jen, Mitch's children is heart-warming. Claire Cross also opens the world of the Romany culture and the mysteries of the Tarot cards. I would recommend this book to everyone who like humor and magic in a story.

I really enjoyed this book. Ms. Cross mixes romance, humour and magic with a deft touch. I was also interested to learn so much about the Tarot deck and how it works. And, of course, there was d'Artagnan the cat. But most of all, Mitch and Lilith's story reaffirmed my belief in love and destiny.

I would heartily advise this book to anyone with romance in thier hearts or the need of some!
