Love is the little things...

In the past few years I've seen this cartoon in the Dallas paper when visiting family there and I really liked the simpliciity of the little things that makes a loving relationship so special pointed out by Kim. She's based the characters on her own love life experience. It's often that these get overlooked with the hustle bustle of our lifestyles. The drawings are adorable but very expressive themselves and again simply drawn but the reader cannot help to be drawn to them - the dark-haired guy and woman in love or growing in love. There are chapters aptly named so you know what aspects you might be reading about. You can read the book in less than a 1/2 hour and if you chose to, cut pertinent pages out and send to the love of your life. There is some overlap with each succeeding book but I am sure you will hit a page and say "hey that's us"! There is really nothing inappropriate written or portrayed.

I am sure that most of you already know these cute couple very well...they used to pop up sometimes from a corner of your newspaper or sometimes from your favorite chewing gum wrapper. When I was a kid those scenes didn't mean too much for me, but after some decades...oh my God! Totally different...Not because I grew up, but because I found my perfect match in life, my second half, Yuliya!
First I thought that it could be a good present for the Valentine's Day and ordered it from Amazon in February this year. It arrived in a thick and safe cardboard packaging. The print quality is good, the binding is strong and safe enough to ensure a long life...So it is highly possible that you can pass this book to your next generations!
I started to turn the pages and realized that our cute couple look like us, act like us! Almost in every page I was seeing me and Yuliya...My heart started to beat faster. I even can not describe now how I felt at that moment. So, suddenly I extended my first idea about the Valentine's Day gift and decided to make my proposal with this lovely book! I even drawn my own pages describing some of the moments we shared together, and put them inside the book to make it a little bit customized for us. In fact my proposal scenario was already planned months ago, but I thought it could be a nice idea to support it with "Love Is...All Around + our own pages".
And, on February 14th she said "Yes!"
I am very grateful to Kim and her deceased husband Stefano! They gave us a very nice present for our life...They may rest in piece.
I highly recommend you to buy this book, if you think you are in such a pure and childish love like Kim and Stefano, and wish that you find many pieces of you within this book.
