I loved this character, strong independent women always catch my attention. From the word go she proved that she was courageous and loyal, and the way she treated her friends and Julian, after all his years of neglect, was heartening. It showed a warmer side of her.

Julian is an Arcadian commander, who sacrificed his human life in order to help the woman he loved. Three thousand years later he is a broken man, a shadow of his former self, for when his love Illia died a part of him died with her. Now, faced with the beautiful Lauren, Julian has begun to feel again and soon finds himself wrapped up in Lauren's alluring web. He shows a vulnerability that makes me melt for him. I love strong, possessive, broody hero's (especially tall, dark and handsome fanged ones), but when they show this side of themselves it makes me melt for them all the more. The way he pined for Lauren, fought for her, loved her, and was willing to die for her, enamoured me to him all the more.

The secondary characters, Piper, Kuga, Leo, Astra and Duke who made up Ghost, as well as Lycaon and Morgan, were all intriguing in their own ways. I loved the variety of power they controlled and the relationships that built up between them. The author's imagination really shines through in her characters as each one is uniquely different and memorable. I also loved the whole Greek connection in this book. I'm a huge mythology buff and it's great when an author can take old tales and put a new twist to them. The way the author offers a new perspective to the origins of Vampires and Werewolves in this book was genius. Hats off to you Felicity.

Okay now on to the good stuff. When I read a book I expect it to have a healthy helping of action and loving, and I got just that with Love Immortal. A good old fight scene gets my blood going just as much as a steamy love scene does. The more descriptive the author makes it the better, and Felicity never disappoints me in that area. The fact that there was only one love scene in the whole 701 pages of this book was a little disappointing, but Christ was that scene HOT!! Plus, Lauren and Julian's constant sexual tension and kinky neck sucking eased my more perverted side. Oh, the first time Julian drinks from her neck, and then with the 'easing'... steamy is not the word lol.

I absolutely loved this book, it's jam packed with action, love, betrayal, and bucket loads of emotional turmoil. I'd totally recommend anyone to read it... in fact, I'm telling you all to read it. So, go now and set Jan 17th into your diary or Blueberry or whatever it is you use. I swear it will definitely be worth your time.

I love the cover on this, dark and brooding with a hint of danger and lust. Love Immortal is fairly fast paced. Lauren the main character is unaware of her history and gets a rude awakening by being hunted by wolves. She is saved by Julian, and the chemistry between them immediately sizzles.

I loved the storyline, and the mythology behind it. I'm pleased to say we have another red headed heroine (yeyy!!) The emotions come across loud and clear in this book, from Lauren's disbelief as first, to utter shock once she realizes she is the target. Lauren blossoms into a full blown butt kicking heroine - her journey to it is a wild ride which I enjoyed. Lauren's relationship with Julian was great, although for me the shift in their relationship was too slow and drawn out. I do like Julian though, a very strong character who goes out of his way to be with the person he loves, and manages to be a character of epic proportions who defies normal rules.

The relationships forged in the book are tangible, there's everything from deception (very very good, and I didn't expect it to happen that way!) to tender and true friendships. I was drawn to Piper's youth and charisma, because of the emphasis on her innocence and true spirit I did get an idea of what was to come.

A thoroughly enjoyable non stop read, with a fantastic jaw dropping hunk of a male character as well as an enjoyable heroine. I enjoyed the interesting mix of mythology and incarnation alongside the x-men type characteristics of some of the cast.

This book is a great story of adventure, love and the long term struggle for Julian to protect Lauren from Werewolves and their three thousand year old past that only he know's about. The main characters are made for each other, although love is never easy through threat's, battle's and outside interference there's hardly time to try and allow love to blossom, but when it does it's as hot, sexy and steamy as one can handle!!!! . Through everything their friend's and allies are a great bunch with all different personalities and abilities which make this book thrilling all the way through. I loved every aspect of the book, was easy to get into the character's which are loveable and blend well together, making it a must read for all paranormal romance lovers, and is just one of many of my favourite book's by Felicity Heaton .
