Product Description

After annoucing his plans to go off and study at Tokyo University to the residents of the Hinata Apartments, Keitaro has the small hurdle of the university entrance exams to surmount. Unfortunately for Keitaro though, he falls asleep in the middle of the test. Devastated by yet another failure in his life, he runs away to an island in the Pacific, leaving the loyal residents of the Hinata Apartments no choice but to go on an adventure and bring him back.

The disc effectively covers the manga story in volume 7 where Keitaro, after falling asleep in the final exams, in a fit of shame decides to leave once and for all. He ends up on a ship bound for the south seas where, who should he bump into but Seta! In the meantime, Naru decides that our hero isn't going to get away with it that easily and sets off to drag him back home...

Of all of the Love Hina DVD's released in the UK, this is probably the weakest. First, because the amount of material is poor; the episode is less than an hour long and the amount of extras is pitiful for the price. Second, the story is a little bit rushed compared to the manga. This aside, there are some really warm moments and plenty to laugh at.

Make sure to watch the full end title sequence, where we discover exactly what Naru thinks of Keitaro!
