An interesting insight... 2 Jan. 2014

Quite frankly, putting a rating to this book is a difficult matter. The text itself is readable, as Icke does indeed write in a clear and easy fashion. However this book is either a must read or an embarrassing throw away depending upon what you believe prior to picking it up.
In this book, through methods of channeling & automatic writing, Icke retraces the history of enlightened/fallen man. Littered through this book are references to Jesus, Lucifer/Satan, the archangel Gabriel, plus many other Biblical characters. It's my opinion that since his very public and very embarrassing 'I am a son of God' interview in 1991, David has gained the intelligence to realize that the use of such Biblical language is not advisable when presenting the new age world view that he currently espouses. However, what is interesting is that the information channelled to him through entities claiming to be Biblical characters that he has quoted in this book, still forms the backbone of what he believes today.
So, in summary, for those who believe that Icke is a kind of working class - common man - no nonsense - anti religious hero, this book will either leave you dazed and confused - or you will have to pass it off as a symptom of his 'mad turquoise' period. For those that understand and believe his new age, anti Biblical propaganda, then of course this book is gold dust. Finally, if you are a Bible believing Christian, then it's an excellent revelation of how someone can be fooled by demonic spirits.
