5.0 out of 5 stars Great book 9 Jun 2014
Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
This is a book with great insight. I am very impressed with the manner in which the author has dealt with difficult issues, (some of which were his own). It is helpful for readers to gain knowledge and understanding in a gracious way.

5.0 out of 5 stars Marvellous work 11 Sep 2013
A marvellous first collection of poems, some of which seem almost deceptively brief, yet in the tradition of poetic genius as in the Haiku for instance, the distilled insights are profound. I find each poem hits me with a sudden realisation of a particular experience or piece of wisdom. Highly recommended and with much anticipation for more to come from this people's poet.

5.0 out of 5 stars A hit in the UK 7 Jan 2014
By ward stothers - Published on Amazon.com
Bill McKnight has been invited over to London and all around Belfast. Many have booked him to read from his book, Loud Silence. He and his book seek to remove the stigma of mental illness and chronicles one man's journey over thirty years living with a serious mental illness. We have learned a lot from Bill by reading his poems and reflecting on their meaning.
We have walked in different shoes. Somehow I know he is now well.
Give it a go!
