* Know how many cold, lukewarm, and hot numbers to include on your tickets. (Page 41)
* Spot a Hot Number before it gets hot--so you can be on it when it starts its winning streak. (Page 53)

* Tell which numbers have an affinity to win most often with your strongest numbers. (Page 71)
* Cash on the most predictable indicator--the balancing Bias Tracker(tm). (Page 34)
* Learn how to choose the best and eliminate the rest. (Page 45)

From the Author

I discovered patterns in randomly drawn numbers in early 1982, and spent the entire year analyzing lottery numbers and developing my systems. I began publishing my lottery discoveries in March 1983. After that they became part of my monthly publication, Lottery Advantage(R). In 1985, I incorporated the Lottery Advantage charts and strategies into my Special Report, State Lotteries: How to Get in It and How to Win It, which has been the most widely read (and also widely imitated) lottery book of all time. It has truly become a textbook classic. But times change and lotteries change. In Lottery Master Guide, 2003 4th edition, you will find my latest and most advanced winning strategies.

Sometimes you do something that you later regret. For me, it was buying this book. Talk about being suckered. Imagine any type of strategy you can use to pick lottery numbers and this book has it. If this doesn't work, try that. If that doesn't work, try this. You name it, this book probably suggests every conceivable strategy to win the lottery, even to the extent of consulting your star sign (talk about being unscientific). What that says to me is that one strategy is as good or as bad as any other. I got the feeling the author was more interested in lining her own pockets by reminding the reader that all her strategies are copy write and suggesting you buy her lottery software for even greater chances of winning. (sorry, once bitten twice shy) Take my advice, save your money or buy a book on compound interest.

Having purchased this book a few months ago I have read through it numerous times and tested and practised her strategies on the numbers from the uk lottery. Yes! there are certain patterns but not in anyway the percentage that Gail advocates.

I got the last 100 winning numbers from the uk lottery and using her strategies I tried to work out what the next numbers would be using short and medium term lotto trends. I used most of the systems to narrow down to a selection of about 12 numbers only to find that I havent' even got one right when checking the next winning numbers. This happened time and time again, even when I was sure that certain numbers would come up. Yeah! I would get one right occasionally and even two right very occasionally - and this is after studying and practising the system selections for quite a few weeks.

The fact is that backfitted results can't predict future results. Your waiting for certain patterns to occur and then you select the appropriate numbers. This can prove very costly as you stick by certain numbers only to find that they just aren't appearing.

Anyone buying this book, I would suggest getting at least 100 previous lottery winning numbers (easily found online) and practise the system selections before wasting your money on her software that she advertises at every given opportunity in her book. You'll soon find that these patterns aren't as regular as she states and without these patterns her software is pretty useless.

If your only playing for fun and don't really expect to win the lottery then buy this book - it can get you one or two numbers occasionally. If your hoping to win substantial amounts of money then avoid the disappointment and don't buy it.

Alot of people play the lottery on a regular basis and give little thought to how they select their numbers. This will not tell you how to predict all the winning lottery numbers but it will help you to choose your numbers more wisely, so that you turn the odds more in your favour. The advice is based on analysis of winnning Lottery numbers all over the world, going back in excess of 15 years, it looks at patterns most often seen in the winning lines, I tested alot of the advice by analysing the past winning lottery numbers, and yes alot of what has been said is true. I think one of the best pieces of advice given was only play what you can afford to, or feel comfortable with, and rather than play 5 lines every game it is much better not to play each game save the money and wait until you are able to play more lines in one game, your odds improve when you play 50 lines as opposed to 5. I would say it is better for a regular lottery player to buy this book, because if they are playing and not winning anything year in year out, this may help them understand why and maybe get them more frequent wins of 3 and maybe 4 number prizes (based on UK lotto). THIS IS NOT A BOOK THAT WILL ENABLE YOU TO PREDICT NUMBERS SO YOU CAN HIT THE LOTTERY JACKPOT, it can however change the way you play to increase your odds of winning. Ultimately Lottery is a gamble, even if you use all the advise she gives in this book you can play and still not win. I hope this helps and clears up what this book can and cannot do.
