My dad was in the RAF during WW2 so books like this are of interest to me. Its a reasonable collection and gives, through individual personal stories, a sort of potted history of the RAF. Some are better than others, and overall, I'd probably recommend buying better biographies and histories than this such as Geoffrey Wellum's "First Light", Stephen Bungay's "The Most Dangerous Enemy", Matthew Parker's "The Battle of Britain", or Simon Read's "The Killing Skies". They're all much better.
