Not the new R&B, quality soul with real instruments, and guys and girls that can really sing. One for the real music fans. A lot of real in the review, but this is what it does for me. Remember when the hair stood up on the back of your neck? Then check this out. You will not be dissapointed. Track 1, Never want to live without you, starts like the Stylistics and moves into heartfelt lyrics. Track 2, Feel Good, is an up tempo early eighties type tune, featuring the great Faith Evans. Number 3, Sometimes I cry, Eric sounds like Maxwell. Track 4 Always a reason, is another Stylistics sounding Intro, and is quality from the first note, Real class. Track 5, Paid, features Eddie Levert, of the O'jays, and it's more than a little similar to the great "Backstabbers". Track 6 Take it, is a duet with Chrisette Michele. The beat is infectious, again soul at its best. Track 7 Stir it up, some great synths on this tune, and first rate backing vocals. Track 8 is a duet with a laid back approach, smooth soul, with vocals that just ooze class. Tune Number 9 is the title track, Lost in Time. Again Stylistic's type vocal arangements. No. 10 is Good life featuring Ledisi. The second up tempo, and almost a Disco track. If your feet don't move to this you shouldn't be reading this..The last track is number 11, and my favorite, Something's wrong. Eric has saved the best for last. My CD my son bought as an Import from the States and has an additional track Spend my life with you, featuring Tamia. But Ive got that on Tamia's album. Start 2011 with some real music, this is really good, Enjoy.. Paul
