5.0 out of 5 stars Remembering theatres past..., 11 July 2001
This review is from: The Lost Theatres of Dublin (Paperback)
This excellent book provides a history of Dublin theatres which are no more, and gives a wonderful insight into the social history of Dublin itself. From the vaudeville acts in Dan Lowry's Music Hall to the serious dramatic works of the Abbey Theatre, this thoroughly researched and beautifully illustrated book examines Dublin's love of the theatre. A must have reference book for anyone interested in Dublin and theatre.
