Not a bad little game. Straight forward and easy game play.

An easy 1000g points which is always nice.

Recommend as its generally cheap :)

1.0 out of 5 stars Urgh 5 Aug 2009

Brought this game for two pound off marketplace. It wasn't even worth that, its dreadful to play through, all the challenges are putting fuse boxes together, the graphics are below par and the gameplay is just so crap. There's so little to do apart from run to places, go through dark caves and collect random items, all of which is so dreadful and annoying.

I would never play through this game again unless someone gave me 50 quid for it.

Having watched all the lost episodes, i came across this game and thought i'd try it, having only ever played pc games before. The game was insteresting enough for me to actually finish, some of the fuses tasks took some working out, but all in all a game this 47 year old female enjoyed playing.

3.0 out of 5 stars Average stuff, but a must for fans 6 Mar 2008
Fun: 3.0 out of 5 stars
That 3/5 there really applies to fans, as if Lost doesn't already have its hooks in you a lot of the thrill won't apply. There is plenty to enjoy here for people wanting to experience an interactive set of episodes and the developers have done a good job of keeping the tone of the show and giving you your own story to explore. There's not a huge amount of gameplay in there though, the puzzles lack variety and are very basic minigames, it is fairly short (about 6 hours roughly) and it over-uses the black smoke, detracting from the effect slightly.

On the plus side the story is classic Lost, and is told brilliantly, with all the twists and flashbacks that you'd expect, and there are some fun gameplay elements (the Crash Bandicoot running sections are cool and the flashback puzzles are pretty original) so you could do worse than pick this up if you love the show.

5.0 out of 5 stars Short & sweet 31 Aug 2013

Fun: 5.0 out of 5 stars
I got this as it was in amazon's warehouse deals for about four quid & I used to like watching lost even though I didn't quite understand the ending, but that's a matter for another time.In the game your basically a photojournalist who developed amnesia due to the plane crash which is how the game starts & you have to do little puzzles like figuring out codes, picking locks & retrieving items to help you complete your tasks as you explore the island and avoid being killed by the black smoke thing in the jungle in order to remember who you are & try to find a way back home. Not all the characters from the show are in the game just kate, jack, hurley, sawyer, sayid, juliet, john locke & benjamin linus and I'm not completely sure the voices are the real actors but they sound similar.Overall it's a good little game with a good mix of puzzle solving & shooting but it is quite short but for a few quid it'll keep you entertained for a while.7/10

4.0 out of 5 stars Basic but good for Lost fans! 1 Aug 2011

Fun: 4.0 out of 5 stars
Well I purchased this game knowing that it had it's fair share of critical reviews concerning the length of the game (being very short) to the portrayal of charcters, their voice acting etc. I understand these problems and the game could certainly be very bland in parts, I wish they had put some more effort in and made it a free-roaming experience so you could stroll about the island and explore at will. However as a huge fan of the television series I was very happy having just finished watching series 6 to have some more Lost available, albeit in a different format.
I enjoyed the backdrops immensely, you really get a sense of the jungle as you try and make your way to specific destinations, only to hear the familiar and dreaded sound of the smoke monster approaching and have to run and hide in the trees. Gets the heart pounding! The graphics are good for the most part the caves, the jungle and the black rock parts all look good, close up characters look rather odd sometimes but I suppose this was just because they wanted them to look so much like their real life counterparts. This for me usually just gave me a bit of a laugh and was much more funny than annoying. Some of the voices like Sun and Sayid sound like the actors themselves but Kate, Jack, Sawyer, Charlie and others do not.
You play a character who wakes up from the plane crash and cannot remember his name or his life. Jack doesn't trust you (classic Jack!) so you begin to search for clues to your past and attempt to discover your true identity.
You can collect things dotted about the island such as coconuts, foodstuffs, water etc that can be used for trading with either Sawyer or Charlie for crucial items like torches and guns.

1.0 out of 5 stars Poor at best 9 Feb 2009
Fun: 1.0 out of 5 stars
Rented this game purely to get a quick and easy 1000g. Found it to be very boring and linear. Even playing through quickly to get the achievements it was painful.

Feels like a rushed, money making spin off of the TV series. Unless you're a diehard lost fan then I would avoid.

2.0 out of 5 stars Shortest game ever 2 Mar 2008
Fun: 2.0 out of 5 stars
I am a massive Lost fan but even I could not see how they can charge any money for this game. The graphics are good and the sound is great, but considering it only took me 3 hours to complete I have to say i was disappointed. Also what you have to do in the game is very limited and very repetitive, there is very little action and seeing as you spend most of your time talking to Lost characters you would expect to have a more open dialog. My advice to anyone thinking of buying this game is to not do so. Rent it from blockbuster and complete it in one day.
