Past and present rapidly collide as Adam finds himself in conflict with the friend who once betrayed him and the very emotions he’s tried to avoid for years come rapidly to the surface. Amid the rugged landscape of the fells and the surrounding forests the tension escalates, breeding violence…

A fascinating story!,
By C. Kuschel-Toerber "Christian Kuschel" - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: Lost Summer (Paperback)
Having picked this book up by pure chance, I soon found myself mesmerized by its complex and intriguing story. An extremely well-written novel with believable characters and dramatic pacing that will certainly keep you yearning for more.
"Lost Summer" shifts between two time settings, the early 1980's and 2002, when the main protagonist must return to the rural Northern English village he grew up in to investigate both a recent crime and his own troubled past. The three-way love pain of being reunited with his former love adds additional spice to this exceptionally spellbinding tale. Worth discovering and high recommended! |
