Thank You Uncut Magazine, without you I would have never have gotten into this band. 'Post to Wire' has hardly been out of my CD player this year, it has been the album of 2004 for me. I got 'Winnemucca' as soon as it was re-released and that too is a brilliant album. I went to see Richmond Fontaine live last night and bought 'Lost Son' at the gig. Came home still reeling from how good the gig was, listening to the album. This is again essential listening for anyone who likes the band. It's loose, dark, moody, lyrical and just full of those intense stories Willy Vlautin tells in his songs. This album shows the rawer edge of the band, I hooked it into immediately. I've been playing it on repeat in my walkman all day! You've just got to get this one, you've just got to see the guys live. No group has rocked my boat as much since the early days of Whiskeytown, they eclipse everything else out there for sure.
