In keeping with the other titles in Countryside Books 'Lost Railways ' series this one , covering Sussex , is a concise but comprehensive guide to the closed railways of the county . The potted histories for the individual lines are interesting and well-written , following the format established for these books by Leslie Oppitz . Having travelled both the Three Bridges - East Grinstead line , and the Horsham-Shoreham 'Little Brighton' line , in their closing years I had particular reason to enjoy this fine little book
