Adapted from Oliver Jeffers well-loved children's book by Studio aka 'Lost and Found' is a delightful tale that tells the story of a young boy, a small penguin and their rather unexpected time together. Full of sentiment, genuine emotion and breathtaking animation, this short is inspired and full of heart. From simple moments on the streets of a quiet shoreside town to high adventure in a row boat on the ocean, the action moves seamlessly, providing some fantastic and memorable scenes. Accompanied by a glorious, sweeping soundtrack (penned by ambient king Max Richter) all parts of the production blend together in a spellbinding fashion sure to tug at those heartstrings.
Essentially, this is for children but regardless of your age, the messages of friendship and overall tone of the piece very much transcend the adult/child divide. If you enjoy a sweet story, innocent wonder or just happen to love penguins (I know I do...), then this if definitely for you.
