I am a huge fan of Ken McClure and couldn't wait to get my hands on Lost Causes, but it was a great disappointment.
The book starts of very slow, with lots of explanation, and didn't get going till towards the 30% mark. After that the plot picks up, you whiz through the story, although if you have read the prequel Requiem, the plot is a little too predicable.
The ending is also a let down, as it felt like the author was in a rush to tie-up loose ends which led to a disappointing finish.
However, if you have not read Requiem it will be a gripping and suspenseful read.
