I'd never heard of this film but bought it on the strength of the trailer and the fact it featured Woody Harrelson, I also play a lot of poker so added interest made me think this was worth a shot.
As suspected the 3D was not only a pointless gimmick for this type of film but also badly implemented as it
was simply a conversion (and a poor one at that) rather than shot in true 3D so don't go expecting any pop-out moments or depth as neither exists in this blu-ray. Luckily there's a 2D version on the same disc.
Believe me, if you've watched the trailer here on Amazon then you will have seen the funniest bits to this film as the rest of the story consists of merely poking fun at all things Vegas (a place I have visited a couple of times and happen to love) without really making you more than just chuckle every now and then.
Woody Harrelson tries his best to lift this title beyond mediocre and there's a few cameo roles from true poker players but neither succeed in making this other than a straight to video then straight onto ebay title.
Wished I hadn't bothered.
