Born in Cairo, Egypt, I came to Britain during winter and saw my first view of snow! My English Dad fell in love with my beautiful Greek Mum in Athens during the war and wrote her a forty page love-letter when fighting in the desert so I guess writing is in my genes! I wrote my first novel in an exercise-book at sixteen and many others after that but then gave up writing for a long time. Now retired and living in Malvern, the muse has returned. I've since written and published The Long Shadow and The Crimson Bed.
My new book, Middle Watch, is now availalbe in print and e-book and tells the tale of orphan Bridie O'Neill. Her drama takes place against the wonderful setting of the stormy coasts and lighthouses of England during the 1950's when the lighthouses were still manned by dedicated men.
I also have a chapter called 'Between Two Cultures: an Anglo Greek Identity Crisis' which appears in an interesting book on Greece published by the Cambridge Scholars. It is entitled 'Greece and Britain since 1945' edited by Dr. David Wills ISBN: 978 1-4438-1962-6 and is available on Amazon.co.uk and Amazon.com
Middle Watch and The Crimson Bed are also available as an e-book on Waterstone's E-pub and Amazon Kindle. I hope to shortly publish The Long Shadow as an e-book also.
