Loretta Jackson and her sister, Vickie Britton, have co-authored over forty novels, mostly mysteries, adventures, and westerns, as well as numerous short stories. Their first co-authored book, Path of the Jaguar, was published by My Weekly and Avalon Books. The sisters enjoy traveling and visit each of the settings they use for their work. They share a love for archaeology, which inspired their eight-book Ardis Cole mystery series. Loretta taught high school English at the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation and became fascinated with the legends of the Old West, reflected in their High Country Mystery series and their Luck of the Draw westerns. Both co-authors now live in Kansas--Loretta in Junction City, Vickie in Hutchinson.
