Don't even consider NOT buying this item for your children. It is absolutely delightful. I saw it once as a child and it has stayed with me for over thirty years. I really wanted my kids to have it and it is still charming. My boys love it. It has a clear message about respecting the environment and that there is always a consequence to our actions. It is beautiful, sad and bittersweet.

If you enjoyed the original book then this is great. My 5 y.o enjoyed this BUT BE AWARE this sticks pretty faithfully to the book and, therefore, is only about 25 mins long.
It does come with a couple of extras and its interesting to see how this has influenced
look of the new (very enjoyable) film.
Bought just after release for nearly £9, think i was done- for £5 is ok.

A fave of my kids & me too- its the old animation classic, one of the best- we love all the Ice Age & Madagascar, How to Train Your Dragon films etc, this is up there with them. Beware its not a feature length animation, but if U like Seuss u are likely to watch again & again. Highly recommend finding 'Green Eggs & Ham' & 'Sneetches' from same era too. Fablus.

Unfortunately I could not play this on my dvd or any other I have as it said wrong "region". UJnfortunately, I threw away all the relative info for sending back. Was surprised it was sent to me knowing my address was in the UK???
