- This is the classic Green China tea. These tight balls of grey-green leaf were originally mistaken for the explosive 'gunpowder' by 16th century traders! Lightly brewed expect a hint of China sweetness, with a dry smooth taste. Less 'green-leaf' tasting than Japanese Sencha.
- Always drink lightly brewed using 1 teaspoon of leaves for a 6-cup (1 litre) teapot. Warm the pot first with a splash of hot water. Add the tea and pour on the boiling water. Brew for 2-5 minutes. Alternatively, brew one teabag in a mug or cup and remove when the tea is the strength you require. Do not add milk.
- Pure China Green tea.
